If you are familiar with Forums (a.k.a. Bulletin Boards) you can go straight there now and register as a contributor: TAKE ME THERE!

For those who have never experienced a Forum before, here are some tips to get you started. The internet is full of Forums, or Bulletin Boards, each with its own niche interests. Of course, ours is where we live and what's happening on our turf!

In order to join a Forum and have your say it is necessary to join up as a member ~ you don't have to use your own name - a nickname is fine! ~ and assign yourself a secret password. That's it!

To make a posting on the Forum (called starting a "thread" - usually a new subject for discussion), or indeed to reply to someone who has started a thread and posted a message you have an opinion on, you do the following:

1) Registering
Below the heading "Our Community" you'll see "register". Click there and set up your nickname, email address and password. Keep these safe for future use! It is recommended that you leave the button settings the same (they are set for maximum privacy). "Submit" your details and return to the Forum Index (list of topics). Now you can read the existing posts. [An easy way is to just close the forum window after signing up. You will then be back on this page. Just go to the forum again and sign in via the link below.

2) To post you own message or reply
Log in using your new nickname & password. At this stage you can start a new "thread" or open any "thread" you wish to join in with and comment on.

If that all sounds a lot, just give it a go anyway. It is reasonably intuitive and these notes will get you though. We are sorry about the irritating adverts! Eventually we will be able to get rid of them. Good luck!
